How Does It Work?

Captions appear at the bottom of the tablet screen and scroll upward as the play progresses. Audience members can see up to twelve lines of text at once, allowing them to watch the actors while knowing they won’t miss any of the dialogue.

Why Cue Captions?

Captions help theaters keep longtime patrons as they experience hearing loss while also making performances more inclusive for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing audiences. By offering captions, theaters can serve both groups and promote accessibility for all.
